Emergency Electrician Wales

What they needed

A retired electrician taking on emergency call-out work on the side needed a website fast: something that would get him found on Google and turn visitors straight into calls, without the overhead of a full site.

What I built

• Google Business Profile set up and optimised for local search
• On-page SEO targeting emergency electrician searches across Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend and South Wales
• Clear, always-visible call-to-action for 24/7 call-outs

How it works

Someone looking for an emergency electrician is usually on a phone, often at night, and wants one thing: a number to ring. So the number is in a bar at the top of every screen and repeated after each section, and the first screen says what he does, where, and that he answers 24 hours a day.

The page then answers what a worried caller wants to know: which problems count as an emergency (a burning smell, a power cut, a breaker that keeps tripping, a shock, water near the electrics), what other work he takes on, and whether he covers their area. The coverage list names the places people search by, from Whitchurch, Llandaff and Rhiwbina to Newport, Bridgend, Porthcawl and the Valleys.

Alongside the site I set up his Google Business Profile, which is what appears on the map when someone searches for an emergency electrician nearby, and the page links to it for reviews and directions. Keeping it to one page made it quick to build, as he needed, and quick to load on a weak signal.
